Cause

Campbell River Daybreak Rotary Club is excited to announce our 2023 Duck Raffle! This most important fundraiser annually, raises around $40,000, that in turn is invested in Campbell River Community Projects and Services.

In our thirty years as a local service club, we have built the Maritime Heritage Centre and contributed to the Splash Park, the Discovery Pier lights, the Head Injury Society Building, the Aquarium, and the Hospice. This year we are focusing our fundraising on Qwalayu House.

Qʷalayu House is a home away from home in Campbell River for expectant moms and families who need to travel so their children can receive health care services in the region and nearby hospital.

Q̓ʷalayu House provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive place for the entire family to stay, alleviating their emotional and financial stress.
It has 10 rooms that are dedicated to supporting families who live on the North Island. Qualayu house is a house mirrored after the successful Jeneece Place in Victoria.

The Rotary Clubs of the North Island have dedicated $100,000 to this House and the raffle proceeds will support this goal.

We would like to thank Myra Falls and Willow Point Dental Clinic (Dr.Wagner) for their support as presenting sponsors.
