Cause

Campbell River Daybreak Rotary Club is excited to announce our 2024 Duck Raffle! In 2023 alone it raised $42,500 that in turn was invested in local community projects and services. It is because of our sponsors and those who purchase our ‘duck tickets’ that we have been able to contribute in a meaningful way to the larger Campbell River community.

In our thirty years as a local service club, we have built the Maritime Heritage Centre and more recently contributed to the creation of Hillcrest House, the Sportsplex Splash Park, the Discovery Pier lights, Youth and Seniors Partnership Project, an annual Christmas family lunch for single parents, the playground at the Spit, the Aquarium and Hospice. These are just a few examples of the imprint we have made and hope to continue to leave each year in our community.

This year we completed our $100,000 commitment to the Q̓ʷalayu House, a home away from home for families travelling for medical appointments or procedures, as well as support ongoing projects to serve the Campbell River community.

Tickets will go on sale on July 8th with the prize draws to take place on September 18th.

We would like to thank our presenting sponsors Gen 7 Fuels and Willow Point Dental Clinic (Dr. Wagner) for their support.
